Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry.
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000); relevant certifications preferred.
Additional certifications like Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or PMP are a plus.
Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with related departments.
Familiar with the latest food production technologies (automation, IoT).
Proficient in using ERP and SCM systems for production optimization.
Understanding of OHS practices in the food sector.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Job Description: Head of Manufacturing:
Develop short- and long-term production strategies and schedules to meet targets and market demand.
Oversee daily production operations, ensuring compliance with quality, efficiency, and timing standards.
Ensure production processes adhere to food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000).
Implement and monitor quality control to minimize contamination and defects.
Manage production budgets and identify cost efficiency opportunities without compromising quality.
Apply lean manufacturing methods to reduce waste and boost productivity.
Supervise procurement and management of raw materials to ensure quality and availability.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards in production areas.
Identify workplace risks and implement appropriate precautions.
Coordinate with R&D, quality control, marketing, and finance teams for alignment with business needs.
Prepare periodic reports on production KPIs, including on-time delivery and defect rates.
Conduct data analysis and recommend improvements for operations.
